Pass Plus the facts
When you successfully complete the course, the Driving Standards Agency will
send you a certificate which you will need to claim your insurance discount. The
insurers in the scheme represent over 63% of the private car insurance market.

• Most participating insurers will give you a one year's no claim bonus as soon
  as you insure your own car. You may be able to defer the bonus for 2 years.
• You can take the Pass Plus course at any time in your driving career but it is
  mainly aimed at new drivers in the first year after passing their test.
• If you passed your test more than a year ago, you should check with participating insurance companies wheather you'll still be eligable for discounts
  before taking part in Pass Plus.
